Wow, was her face red! [I Got Embarrassed]
A medical student, working to put himself through school, was a waiter at an iconic pizza place. Part of the decor was a 'brag wall' with photos of the famous people who were customers.
One older woman customer asked the waiter why there were so few women among the photos. He didn't know what to say and suggested "Maybe women don't eat much pizza?"
A bit later, after delivering the check to the table, he saw the occupants were gone but had left payment for the meal to the penny, along with this note:
"Maybe women don't tip, either." And no tip.
As he cleared the table, he found an envelope. It contained a cashier's check for almost $424,000. After several days of searching he and his boss finally found the woman.
She was feverishly grateful - and apologetic.
