Why doesn’t my friends understand that I have midterms I have to study for? They keep nagging at me to hang out with them next weekend.
So my friends are planning an outing and it’s this coming Sunday. I wish it was next weekend because I have to study for midterm exams. I told them I have exams but they just said okay.
My friend said, “Well we understand you have midterms but the outing is only for a few hours so you can make time. You need to get out and have some FUN.”
Im BUSY. I texted in the group chat that that I don’t ones if I’m going to be about to go because I have midterms to study for and this is very important to me. Nobody responded to that.
I asked my friend what time we’ll meet up and she said she doesn’t know and we’ll figure it out. Probably at noon.
Well I’ll have to see. My first part of my midterm is Monday the next day so I’ll have to do good.
My best friend said, “Well we’ll let you know but it’s only a couple hours so it shouldn’t take up your studying time. Nobody studies all weekend. Sometimes you just need to take a break for a while. Just COME. It will be fun. You’re just using your midterm as an excuse to not have any fun all weekend. You need to take a break. When we get done, you can go home and get back to it.”
Also my cousin invited me to go to a party this Saturday night and I told him I have to study for midterms. She said I have all day to study and I can just come out later. Come on!
I asked if we can reschedule for next weekend but our friend said March 2nd is the only day she’s free. Damn it! What do I do?
