AH.HA.HA.HA funniest joke ever!!

Trying to study for my German exam but things around me keep distracting me!!!!

I try listening to 'study music' playlists and they do help, but sometimes I get my soul into the music and forget about studying.

I have philosophy, French and literature, and German exam this week! AND I HAVE DONE NOTHING!!

Im a complete failure ...
Why was it easier to study during my nursing school years than now? UUUUUGH! I'll try to get back to my studying

It was so easy back then (especially in the dorms) to cram than to study. I know that going back means not doing that for me for sure although it is very easy to procrastinate.

@updown2020 We have no one word, yes, we have several. verhauen, versohlen, verprügeln as verbs, eine Tracht Prügel, ein Hinternvoll, Schläge, Hiebe, Dresche, Senge as nouns. All with slightly different connotations.

Spanking children in all contexts is banned here. It was abolished in school three to four decades ago,depending on the state. More adult forms of spanking no doubt exist.

@Uncle Okay just because the state say's you cannot spank your kids does that mean it does not go on but no one talks about it or it just does not go on at all?

In state schools it has definitely stopped completely. I should know, I have been there both sides of the ban. As for what happens in families, I would have to guess. Anything really severe definitely does not happen anymore. As a home tutor I might or might not see things, but I would never comment on that.
