Nah, because I believe in multiple intelligences.
Someone might be great at math, but suck at language.
Not to mention, a degree doesn't necessarily mean you're the best candidate, at least in my line of work. I've know front-end developers with Masters degrees in Computer Science that can't grok concepts like mapping arrays in React, and I've known self taught front-end developers who get things like the Context API without any problems. And give versa.
