How do you figure out what type of sexuality you are? How do you talk about and who do you talk about it with?

I know I don't know them all... These are the terms I've come across and some I feel I understand well while some I don't:

asexual (connected to aromantic)
bisexual (attracted to both male and female in varying levels - connected to bi-curious)
demisexual (requires a strong emotional bond?)
heterosexual (the 'standard' man + woman or woman + man between true genders)
homosexual (synonyms of 'gay' and 'lesbian')
metrosexual (a bit of a 'wank factor' term that really means nothing IMHO)
pansexual (attracted to others regardless of their true male/female or pseudo-gender)
polysexual (attracted to multiple true or pseudo-genders, but not all)
sapiosexual (attracted to intelligence)

What others are there that I've missed and what do they all mean?

How do you figure out what you are? I've never worked it out for me.

I feel I'm very sapio (the intelligence part), and bi-curious (but would only want to explore that with a couple so there are safe boundaries), but at the same my now extreme fear of sex/intimacy/romance makes me also feel I'm partly asexual/aromantic as well since the walls 'closed in' after what happened in my last relationship.

I find it extremely difficult to talk about sexuality with my main peer group (people I work with) as it's mostly guys in normal relationships and nearly all the girls are gay/bi/lesbian/etc. so I feel really uncomfortable trying to have conversations about it being single and very much the odd one out. I don't socialise much if at all and have no really close friends plus no change of romantic connections where I might be able to figure it out.
