I Remember Physical Education In Vest And Pants [I Hated Physical Education Class]

This only happened to me a couple of times. Most of my PE lessons were gymnastics or dance and I wore a leotard with bare feet. In high school for other sports it was tee shirts and gym knickers or sometimes a netball skirt again mostly bare feet.

Our uniform for indoor PE was a light blue polo shirt with dark blue gym knickers. We always did PE in bare feet because no shoes were allowed in the gym. If we forgot any of our kit we had to try to borrow or find something to wear from lost property. If we couldn't find anything, we had to participate in our underwear 😢

@SunshineGirl Yes it did especially in secondary school. It was the worst if it was an outside lesson. Often end up wearing my school sweater, knickers and bare feet running laps on the field.

@SW-User Poor Kate 😢 I did gymnastics in my bra and knickers and a netball bib. I cried for hours afterwards at the humiliation 😟

@SunshineGirl I remember running round the field like that! But we were given a netball bib to wear with our knickers rather than our school jumpers, which was probably good as it was often raining! The rain meant splashing through mud and puddles in bare feet.

@SunshineGirl That's a relief! I'm not sure why your teacher gave you a netball bib though, ours never did. If you wore a bra under your school blouse it was bra and knickers, and if not you did it in just your pants!
