What games do you or did you do at PE and also outside with friends?

@SunshineGirl tic tac toe is same as noughts and crosses apart from we use 9 hula hoops at one end of the gym and we get put into two teams and all get a bean bag . Once your team member has put their bean bag in a hula hoop and ran back then it is next persons turn and so on until a team makes a line of three or maybe stalemate sometimes. You need to be quick on your feet and think fast once your ready to decide where to put your bean bag.

@SunshineGirl We also play a game where the gym floor is lava and we get various bits of equipment to jump and step on to get round the gym without touching the floor. Being barefoot I always do well as I pretend the floor is really hot😅

@happygoluckygal Of course, mustn't burn your toes! I would imagine that you can also grip and move around more easily with nothing on your feet 🙂

@SunshineGirl That's the only two games that I don't mind having barefeet for and yes it's easier.
I have to be barefeet cause I got blisters on heels before so teacher says it's good for me but sometimes I don't like it depending what we do.

@happygoluckygal What activities don't you like doing in bare feet?

@SunshineGirl It's more because my trainers are cushioned so don't hurt me but because other kids wear expensive designer trainers that some kids can't afford we don't get to wear them for PE.
So it's a bit crap I have to go barefooted when I have trainers.

@happygoluckygal That does seem a bit petty if you have shoes that you would be more comfortable in. Those plimsolls do rub, I know. I have very narrow feet and plimsolls did not fit me properly, so I usually had to do indoor PE in bare feet.

@SunshineGirl It was cause my heel bled at a class and my teacher saw the blood and a sore blister so I been barefoot since. I agree that the shoes we get are not good but that's the uniform.
I tried plasters and even 2 pairs of socks.
The boys like it when we do PE with them.,🤨

Why's that?

@SunshineGirl The boys? Just the age we are at (14-16) and we like a few of them too😊.
A few like it if we are barefoot (and developing 😮.)
If I paint my nails they like to look which is okay sometimes.

@happygoluckygal My daughter got told off for having painted nails in PE. She was most displeased!

@SunshineGirl I only do toes a light colour but never finger nails as they stand out.
I think it depends on your age and teacher.

@happygoluckygal She painted them emerald green over the weekend and then forgot her trainers for PE on Monday so they were a bit noticeable! 😅

@SunshineGirl Maybe a bit bold but sometimes teachers are too strict. Did she have to remove nail polish?
We have to wear a blouse and tie as well although last year when it was really hot we got to stay in PE kit and got free bottles of water.

That's a good idea to wear PE kit. It was very hot last year.

We got to wear pink if we wanted and had a fun afternoon in the school hall😊
