@lizzielost I've often wondered what it may have been like to do in bare feet. The course we ran, I wouldn't have fancied it😬

@GkB01 We had two courses. One through woodland, where you had to wear shoes, one across the playing fields where girls without footwear could run. I had all the rest of my kit on that day, just not my shorts, so I got sent on the woodland trail 😔

@lizzielost Our course started out across the field, then went through some woodland before moving back towards school via footpaths alongside a main road, so bare feet really not an option. I did do athletics style activities barefoot when only on the school field. Great to feel grass between the toes😀

@lizzielost I run track in bare feet all the time.

@KatieJ We had a grass track and it was quite nice to run bare foot on it 🙂 I also did long jump without shoes because it was a bit like being at the beach when you landed in the sand 😅

@Greenbare Fortunately I was wearing knickers, but they got really wet muddy on the run and I couldn't wear them afterwards 😒

@bobinuk Yes. We were running with the boys and I was completely humiliated being seen in my underwear. It was cruel - she should have allowed me to wear my skirt 😟
