Bette Nesmith Graham, the mother of Michael Nesmith from The Monkees, invented Liquid Paper, which is a brand name for correction fluid. She developed it in the 1950s while working as a secretary and frustrated with typing errors. She initially called it "Mistake Out

Yes, I did...and she was assisted by her husband who was a painter and helped her develop a quick-drying paint that could be typed or written on once it dried.
