1) Regretting not speaking to my parents after they're dead, because I wouldn't have the chance then.

2) Dying without having accomplished one of my goals, because my life would have been a big waste.

3) A big spider rushing at me, because instinctively I see it as a threat, even if it's not.

@DustinHartlett if we die in the end, then it’s all meaningless
Doesn’t matter what you did, you won’t know anything and people will forget you
DustinHartlett · 26-30, M
@Ferise1 You're assuming it's about people remembering me or whether I know anything. Lol. That's a very selfish view. A selfless view is about what good you can do for the world before you die, regardless of recognition.
Ferise1 · 46-50, M
@DustinHartlett it will also be forgotten
DustinHartlett · 26-30, M
@Ferise1 I. Don't. Care.
Ferise1 · 46-50, M
@DustinHartlett you don’t know what you’re saying. According to your logic, you do care. Way more than you realize.

@Ferise1 Sorry, but who do you think you are claiming people don't know what they're sharing about their own motives? Just because you don't understand someone, doesn't mean you're right. I've seen your other comments toward other people, and I knew you would behave in a similar rude manner toward me.

I'll explain it to you one more time. If you keep arguing after that, you'll get blocked. I don't mind less intelligent people, but when they're also arrogant, that becomes very annoying and unworthy of most people's time.

I want to make a positive difference in the world. It doesn't matter if I'm remembered. It doesn't matter if my actions are remembered. The fact is that every action has a reaction and whatever I do will forever be etched into existence. My actions will have a ripple effect. My actions will have a significant impact on at least some people. Those people's views will be modified, and those modifications will have an impact on others, including their children, and so on.

The impact of a good deed doesn't just disappear, even if you and your actions are forgotten.

I assume you'll continue being rude so, all the best :)

@DustinHartlett but you said, dying without accomplishing one of your goals… your goals is to do something good that will have a ripple effect? Well, that was unexpected.
And I like how you called me less intelligent, that made my day.😂
DustinHartlett · 26-30, M
@Ferise1 You didn't argue. That must have taken a lot of restraint. Well done :) I did make it pretty clear in my first response to you:

'A selfless view is about what good you can do for the world before you die, regardless of recognition.'

There are many things we don't know and don't expect. Best to take this into account before you accuse someone of not knowing their own mind. If you're not sure, it's better to ask :)

@DustinHartlett nope no particular restraint😊
