I'm actually OK with most of that, but "even if he stays out all night"? I don't think so! A good, loyal, and supportive wife deserves a good, loyal, and faithful husband, who comes home at night!

@AbbeyRhode Exactly! I completely agree with you. And if he is going to be late she deserves a phone call too. Everyone has a cellphone these days. There is no excuse for not calling.

@Musicman Even before cell phones they had a way to call the wife and let her know he wouldn’t be home and more importantly WHY. No excuse to let her sit and wait on him for dinner like my ex did a huge number of times. I figure if they don’t call and aren’t involved in something like a car accident or other emergency then they have no good excuse and don’t want to be questioned.
