I'm learning to cope

I'm teaching myself the best way to over come depression is that knowing so many people are suffering it's normal to feel alone and there are so many lonely people around the world. Many people think they are the only ones that have a problem but rest assured there are people in worse situations.
I'm learning to outgrow self pity...... because that takes you no where. I am learning not to take responsibility for other people's bad behavior and not to cause myself pain , by asking why he has done that.
I tried my best and if it wasn't good enough oh well.
I am learning I have the full power on how I live,
I am learning not to blame my.short comings on people.

I’m sorry you went through this but many of us do. I have held on to self pity for soo long that’s why I’m unhappy. Also, I don’t believe in myself which won’t get me anywhere. You are on the right path now so you’re doing the right thing. Just keep this positive energy alive and your life will improve. I’m sure of that. Good luck 🍀

I am sorry you deal with this. Self pity is t a good thing because you get stuck in that cycle. I think it’s important if you need to take a moment to process how you feel about the negative things. Then move on so you don’t get stuck there. I know with my chronic pain I don’t get stuck in the cycle of feeling sorry for myself. I feel what I need to and move on.

Recognizing this behaviour and knowing you can’t control someone’s actions is a really good thing for you. I hope you are able to keep progressing 💖.
