Message me, then not respond?

I don't initiate conversations. And not many initiate conversations with me. I suspect not many want to either. Hence the no response back.

Hey, how are you.......hey how ya doin'..........are rhetorical sometimes. Not EVERYTIME those words are spoken means you MUST go on and become acquainted. I do get ur point.........people anymore have no idea how to converse. If it's not on social media or texting or playing a game with someone online they have never met and never will...... they would never have contact with another human being. But that is humanity anymore. Isolated, damaged, socially mal adjusted people. So logically if it's that way in day to day life...........its on social media too. It's 2024..........its how people are now.

If you dont reply fast enough those if us with adhd get distracted and our attention wanders elsewhere

I usually initiate with a purpose...when I do ..it's very rare I do initiate

The best is when they just say 'hey' or 'hi' then reply in one word responses
