I Think Education Is Important

but.....I do think it's way deeper than that.. and that you cannot force those aspirations on those who do not value that.. Read this article this morning and it got me thinking about a subject I find i disagree with many people on... some perhaps well off people sometimes have, I feel, a poor understanding of poorer people and troubled families.. they seem to want to wave a wand and make it all fluffy and nice.. or they want to throw money at it...I think its way deeper and perhaps NOT about throwing money and time and resources, (not that you shouldnt offer those where they ARE wanted) but more about learning to accept that different people may have different values and not share your aspirations of good education, good job etc.. Anyway here's the article

Well, yes, we can't all be highly educated, and trying to pretend otherwise is painful & wasteful. Society is always going to need unskilled & lowskilled workers, not to mention highly skilled non-professionals. Pretending it's a moral failing, and punishing people, for finding the realm they fit into, seems very stupid to me.

See that's what i think.. and i came from a very poor, troubled background.. and thing is.. people are happy living their life the way they want to.. they dont want the same things others do.. I was considered VERY odd because i loved education and did well.
