I was in academic medicine. I ran a clinical program, taught medical students and residents, and did clinical research.

It was a great gig, but to stay pertinent and keep my job, i had to raise a lot of money in grants and gifts.

Many years ago I was asked to give the seminary professors a series of lectures on the Book of Matthew. It was fun. They all had their doctorate in Bible or Theology.

i am an expert on most subjects, but the best one has lasted many years, i started drinking at 13 now 75 and have become a expert on anything associated with booze especially a manhatten

I taught as an adjunct at a law school for exactly one semester. I think it would have become easier in subsequent sessions but I couldn’t handle the marking of mid-term and final exams for 50 future lawyers.

@Offthetop Yes, marking and grading are quite a chore. It is like folding clothes, haha
