2nd Semester done with
I ended my second semester of community college last week. It went better than I thought it was going to. I really struggled in my Elementary Algebra course early on. I mean, its been since 2014 that I had done anything related to it. Helps that I had a great professor, who which was more interested in us understanding the concepts and showing our work than getting the answer correct. He was a very wise one haha. He was almost 86 years old so he has had a couple decades to perfect his teaching ways.
My second class was Cultural Anthropology, it was much easier. Still thou I struggled in the realm of writing papers and constructing PowerPoints. Both of which I again had not done in a good many years. However, again my professor for this class was very understanding. He was a 60 something year old Australian man who happened to be teaching his first class, aka our class haha. He had a unique perspective with Culture as he is a foreign nationality and was a former Hippy Trail traveler. I wish him the best in his continued journey on completing his Masters program.
But to wrap it up I'm very proud of myself that i got an "A" in both classes and definitely motivates me to continue my important journey to complete my Associates degree and move onto my bachelors. Better opportunities here I come!
