The same way you did i wore my school colors i was a 2 sport athlete had alot of fun in high school and college

I have tshirts and a cap with my school logo. When I was actually in college, I couldn't afford shirts or things with the school colors/logo.

I wore school colours for sports events and it was a red vest and small black athletic shorts

I think Your professors are thinking some other sprit with you
