I thought the airport might be less busy at night

It appears everyone else in England came to the same conclusion. Touché, everyone else.

I have, however, bought some of the most expensive breakfast food I've ever encountered.

So it's not all bad. I'm still managing to waste money that I can't really afford to waste.

Without meaning to brag, i'm pretty well off financially thanks to my father, and even i baulk at the obscene prices in airports. It's absolutely scandalous that they can get away with it.

the cafes in airports pay very high rents, so have to charge alot to cover overheads, a bit like cinemas charing £5 for a bag of popcorn

People who attend Oxford should get free lounge access so they don't have to mix with the plebs. There should be an Oxford lounge. The Cambridge lounge can be the toilets 😒

I wasn't being serious. Cambridge is obviously a great university.
