Course Change in College

In my last update (I really do come back here whenever life gets rough, reddit is not enough for me lol), I explained my situation where a state/community college admitted me but not in the course I wanted. Having said that after taking up my first year (now I'm an incoming 2nd year) I am eligible to shift to a program that I want. Good news! (kinda) I'm now filling up my shifting form. Problem is I'm kinda scared, there's no guarantee that I'd be given a slot and once I sign the form my current college drops me. I'm willing to take the risk but yeah, scared. Idk what to do.
