Maybe one that could be used as a prerequisite for a credential in health care?
Practically any role in health care requires a state license or some proof of qualification that serve as credentials. While health care may not be on your list of things you want to do with your life it's an industry with a constant need for service providers, and maybe not a bad place to be while waiting for a dream job opportunity.
Our kids are architects and entered the job markets during economic slumps but found jobs in related businesses but not where they wanted to be. It took a few side steps over a few years to eventually slide into the ground level of what they really wanted.
