If you say so....4 years before college I was wearing dirty coveralls, toiling away under trucks outside on the oil fields of west texas making less money than I am now (although it was still alot for a mechanic), now I have two bmws, looking to buy my first house, and making about double what I made before school. I wear nice clothes to work and sit in an office managing engineering projects that I take great interest in. I even think about machining when I am not even at work because I love my career.
Getting a degree and serving in the army were the two best things I ever did for myself.
My life is completely different now because of it.
I have no reason to lie about this. If being a mechanic was better to me than being an engineer, why would I say otherwise?
