College closed early for Christmas

I was in college on Monday. Term ends on Friday but we already knew we would end Tuesday because of covid. Then Monday afternoon we had the message not to come in on Tuesday. And I go to school on Wednesdays to do Maths. But Monday evening I had the message that school has closed a week early. So suddenly I am all dressed up and nowhere to go! I have had online college. And I have loads of college work to do. But yesterday I got Christmas cards and presents ready for posting. And in the afternoon I took my repeat prescription to the surgery. They had told us to do it early for Christmas. I am Type 1 diabetic. I need insulin to live! And posted everything that needed posting at Fforest post office on the way back. I even used 2nd class stamps. Never happened before. I am a last minute Christmas person!

Very glad you got your insulin, I meant to mention that to you - it sounds like things will get in short supply after NY. Good time to live on a farm, I suppose :)
@firefall I don't have much so I don't miss much. Many people here can't cope when the shops close as they will on 28th December.

@LilirWyddfa Yes> I cant imagine what London will be like (or the parking zones in Dover for that matter)
@firefall The people of the UK will now understand what they voted for. They think EU regulations have them in chains. Now they have to build their own regulations. And NI and Scotland never wanted to leave. We in in Wales have buggers in green wellies who voted to stay. They sold their semi detached houses in England for something much better in Wales. And vote against us. So it looks like we want to leave uk.

@LilirWyddfa Well I can't blame Wales for that. After all, I left the UK lol

I expect Scotland to leave the UK (and Great Britain, technically) next year with a referendum from the SNP. I imagine it'll take a bit longer for Wales, but the need will be obvious, I fear.

I still can't believe all the lies about Brexit that were just gobbled up by the newspapers, back when the first referendum was held.
@firefall What worries me is left behind tagged onto bloody England.
The resistance is getting ready.
