I Am Unsure About College

My dad wants me to go to the community college nearby the first two years but I sort of want to go right to the university. Dad says I need time to explore different subjects and decide what my major will be and community college is better for that. But it sort of doesn't seem like really being in college to me. Maybe he is right though.

I will tell you right now that post high-school is an interesting time.

Some kids figure out life at 18 and do well in college.

Some kids aren't mature enough and either fail the life part of college or college itself.

Getting some cheap college credits while working part-time is probably not a bad way to get adjusted after high school.

If you're ready with what you want to do with life... go to a university.
