One of my classmates posted this in the class online discussion. 😂

There is probably some basis in fact. Profs tend to be quirky. Did the student disagree with the professor about something?

@Mamapolo2016 I think just because it has been difficult to earn a decent grade on our discussion posts. Our professor has certain criteria that must obviously be met to earn all possible points. The student appears to be missing some criteria and continuously earns low grades.
@KaciAlex What are some of the criteria?

@Mamapolo2016 the response has to be pretty lengthy. A paragraph minimum for each question asked, not too much work there. Sometimes though, the question asked can be a bit vague and it can be more difficult to try to gather thoughts to answer the question. Also, we must engage in discussion with our peers. The discussion must hold some kind of substance. Not asking a whole lot really.

@Mamapolo2016 I think you nailed it. One needs clear criteria. Otherwise you’re constantly “fetch a rock...no, not that rock..”
@KaciAlex No, that sounds reasonable.

@KaciAlex that seems like a lot of subjective criteria to me
@Bubbles Yes - and if it's been difficult for a lot of students to measure up, the prof is not being clear enough in stating what meets the standards.
