I Am In College

I’m going to college for Landscape Architecture and suddenly my parents are trying to include me on things they want to do in the yard.
They had me draw up a plan. Then in the end we went with their idea anyways.

@TexChik It was nice that they included me and I love plants and landscape design unless it’s our yard.

@EniaE too much familiarity with the surroundings? I am a botanist by degree . I share your love of plants...and the smell of thick rich soil. What's most impressive to me is that , at your age, you know what you want to do and are taking steps to do it! That's awesome!

@EniaE There is nothing more satisfying that seeing a young person make a plan, set a goal, and then achieve it. I never understood that as I was persuing my career as a student...but I certainly understand it now. 👍

I still have a while to go. I should graduate Community College in spring of 2020 then I have to transfer to a university.
