@SatyrService Uhm, not really. I meant to say: [i]I am dark but stars can't shine [/i](I prefer ''light'' (candeo) for this because it's a source of light, whilst things can shine - such as moonlight- even if they only reflect; here in English I used shine because ''light'' would give it another meaning) [i]without darkness[/i]. I'm still bad at Latin (dead languages are much harder) and that's why it sounds so unnatural.
Wouldn't the translation for this be (roughly): Dark (or darkness?), but I cannot see unless shiny stars exist in the darkness? I know it's a lot of ''darkness'' but I can't remember any other words that'd be closer
