I Have a College Degree (am a College Graduate)

and I work in fast (or fat as my phone correctly tried to say) food. I have no savings. luckily right now I have no debts either, just worked my ass off to clear them.

And when a guy opened up and said he didn't want to progress because he couldn't read or spell so all, why do we have to use those dots everywhere. ... I couldn't help but laugh. At him slightly. But mostly at me. We wound up in the same place. Hard ass mother ING fact of life (Marselles Wallace talking to Butch in Pulp Fiction).

The economy is still kind of out of whack now. But one day you and your degree will open doors for you that will never open for your co-worker. No matter what things may look like to you now, education is still very important and will make a big difference in your lifetime earnings.

Thank you for your kind sharing of optimism. I can't help but see banks crashing down everywhere, China also. and the whole system that was damned upon its very conception will come tumbling after. I just don't know how to play a constrictive role in What's coming next. Whilst keeping a living going at the same time.

besides managing in fast food doesn't have to be a bad earner. plus some of the management training is actually worth its salt. Could lead upwards quite easily.

I agree about the training leading upward. All learning and improvement is beneficial. Even if how or when in the future it might provide that benefit is presently unknown. I think too right now the world economy is in the middle of a large shift, kind of like a digital equivalent of the industrial revolution. Not sure really where things will settle. But when they do, you'll still be better off than others without your education.

Thank you. I suppose you're probably right. Never thought about it like that before.

It's just an 18k grand piano hanging above my head, and I know what that means I just cleared 4k of debt in 5 months on min wage.
