Yes love it. History and theology are two subjects I find very interesting.

@SWisGoingWoke the big world does have a place and a need for people to devote themselves and their efforts to the research and analysis of history, theology and other unpronounceable subjects too obscure for most of us to consider spending the effort to understand.

Some may think those are unmarketable skills. But surely you've heard or read at least once, names like "Chomsky" or "Umberto Eco".

I was surprised to learn they are scholars in a field where those dedicated to study itall over the world may fit in a single roon: Phylology.The study of symbols and their significance throughout history.

And yet I stumbled into Chomsky in the most unlikely of places: his thoughts on lexicographic analysis of languages, made possible the development of Just in Time compilers like the one that powers the Java Virtual machine. So you never know what area of research will bring about the next waves of human development.
