Is home schooling better than sending kids to school?

From personal experience I was home schooled from age 3 to age 9, and when finally enrolled in a school, it was really hard to get along and I didn't have any communication skills at all, and from my opinion, it has its pros, but it also has it's cons, most people think it is bad, because you've been thought by your parents, and when you go and get thought by a teacher and start to get grades and all it might be a little shocking..
