Originally my hope was fifty. That seemed like a very old age back when I was seventeen. Dad died when he was sixtyeight. I'm fiftysix now. My mom is ninetyseven. A couple years ago she pretty much lost her short term memory. My last girlfriend died at age fourtysix from ovarian cancer. I cared for her two of her kids for five years after she died. They're all grown up now and gone as is my own son. So after mom goes I'm ready.
