Bug spray knowledge

Any bug spray that says it will kill roaches will kill any other bug. Roaches have a decentralized brain system, which is why they can survive so much. The rest of the bugs don't, so roach poison will also kill anything with a centralized brain system

Most insecticides are based on compounds like permethrin, which attacks the nervous system, so an insect's specific physiology does not matter very much. It will still be killed. Cockroaches may be tougher than other species, but not entirely so.

These substances are extremely toxic also to fish and other aquatic animals, hence the warnings on their containers to protect aquaria and ponds from them.
