America should have more degree apprenticeship options

The United Kingdom and European Union have on the job vocational training with classroom instruction while the student worker gets paid a wage from the beginning and the company or government pays for the diploma, certificate, or the degree. In the UK for instance someone can achieve a bachelors degree level 6 or masters degree level 7 qualification with a degree apprenticeship. The United States has some apprenticeships for trades like carpentry and construction and some healthcare and tech roles but the EU and UK have diverse offerings like translation, creative writing and journalism, etc. and I’m just like wow why can’t the United States be more like other countries when it comes to degree apprenticeships? And more traineeships to various industries. That way companies get qualified workers and students don’t have to be in debt. The educational model in America is broken and needs revamping.

The education system in the US needs to bring itself down to EU standards? I don't think so. Wokeism and liberalism needs to be removed from American education and the system works. Education is predominantly where liberals are employed, hoping to influence young people with their tripe.

@TexChik Edduation should not be a matter of "woke" ideology (whatever "wokeism" and "liberalism" mean), and in what to you are foreign countires, certainly not which US party to support!

There is no American left-right division ouside of the USA. There are Left and Right but the spectrum is broadly different.

Neither is there is an "EU" standard education system. Each country creates its own system; but on the whole they try to teach people knowledge and skills to to help their career and other life prospects. Not vague political / sociological dogma based on what the White House thinks.

Your last sentence even implies you are against education!

I don't know how you think otherwise - or is your derision a sign that you are annnoyed that European schools do not push your own political-party views relevant only in America?

@ArishMell The EU is woke, the brits are being colonized by Muslims.

@TexChik Do you really know anything about anywhere East of New Yok and West of Los Angelese?

What do you mean by "woke"?

Britain is not being "colonised" by anyone - unless you count American cultural hegemony and commercial take-overs.

@ArishMell he thought so.

@TexChik My daughter is due to start an apprenticeship in hospitality i. September. I guess the basic premise of hospitality - providing food and shelter to those who require it - is the very definition of Woke!
