People who don't want CRT in schools
Just don't want kids growing up to have compassion and empathy for minorities that whites have constantly regulated and created laws to keep oppressed.
If the kids learn that their white ancestors deliberately worked to oppress people, and the children gain empathy for those who are oppressed, they may actually grow up to dismantle that racist oppression and that just can't stand!
The refusal to have critical race theory in school has nothing to do with "white shame" and everything to continue the white supremacy that has been institutionalized in our systems.
