I have a parent who thinks my hobbies and all that i am is lame

They never were supportive of me and hold me back from pursuing school. Been saving up just to finisn my degree. Just so I can find a stable career for myself. All they ever do is judge me and don't even bother to teach me. I think it's an insecurity thing that they want me to stay low.
