Long time to wait for results tho
SaorUladh · 31-35, M
@IndigoSavage
Yeah it was pretty frustrating. It was because I did the test relatively early.

Most people don't do it until January and all the results are released on the same day in February.

FreddieUK · 70-79, M
Always good to hear of young people progressing and enjoying the moments that have been worked hard for.
I don't know how to feel about this...

Lots like you did a heck of a lot better than average! Congratulations, but also, there is "no pass mark" for this section...

Then what is the purpose of this section of there is no pass mark?!? ‼
SaorUladh · 31-35, M
@sstronaut
It's a test for universities to consider as part of an application. There's no official pass mark because different universities have different standards. Some demand a higher score than others.
@SaorUladh Oh okay, that background makes a lot more sense, and look what you can do what you apply yourself correctly!

Great job!

Now release the sheep 🐑🐑 let them go free
Congratulations on your test results. I believe you'll easily achieve your goals at the University.

@Bexsy
It's the first time I took a test seriously in my life and it worked out pretty well 🥲
Good work ! 👍🏽
SaorUladh · 31-35, M
@bijouxbroussard
Thanks. The score is immaterial really, as I already knew I had a place at Oxford. But it is nice to see how I did because I've been wondering about it for months 😅
4meAndyou · F
Congratulations! Now you'll have to follow through!!! 😊😊😊
FreddieUK · 70-79, M
@4meAndyou Yes, agree. Good exam results are a really enjoyable moment on the road to something better.
SaorUladh · 31-35, M
@FreddieUK
That's the most important thing. It is nice to celebrate victories but I'm not slowing down until I've reached what I'm aiming for.
deadgerbil · 26-30, M
If you got 35, you would be my daddy
SW-User
@SaorUladh you're both cancelled @deadgerbil
deadgerbil · 26-30, M
@SW-User cancel me,,,
SW-User
@deadgerbil I think I just said that
Jexie · 26-30, F
Nice. That's impressive
SaorUladh · 31-35, M
@Jexie
I'm not really too surprised tbh.

I don't mean that in an arrogant way 😅 it's just that I knew my Oxford interviews weren't perfect and I presumed that I must have done pretty well on that test if they chose me ahead of the other candidates.
Jexie · 26-30, F
@SaorUladh Yeah, the interviews matter but the score must've been it
markinkansas · 61-69, M
is sw your training ground..grin
You obviously scored highly on the STD's section and lower on the virtuous behavior section 🤔

SaorUladh · 31-35, M
@UBotMate
Yes but I need those STDs. I mean, I'll be living in England
StevetheSleeve · 31-35, M
You’d be a challenge in a bar argument
Wait, are you one of those Northern Irelanders?
SaorUladh · 31-35, M
@sstronaut
I'm anglo-Irish. I live in NI at the moment.

It's a little complicated. The population of NI is about half Irish and half British. Generally speaking, most people get along fine but there is some animosity based on history and old quarrels.

The same applies to how the rest of Ireland sees us. Generally favourable, but with some exceptions. Like in most places, the worst problems are caused by a small number of hateful people.
poisonouscupcake · 22-25, F
i’d still win against you in a law exam😼
poisonouscupcake · 22-25, F
@SaorUladh aren’t you moving to a new age range soon🫩
SaorUladh · 31-35, M
@poisonouscupcake
I'm going to be 31, not 91 😒
poisonouscupcake · 22-25, F
@SaorUladh could’ve fooled me☺
