@sstronaut It's a little complicated. The population of NI is about half Irish and half British. Generally speaking, most people get along fine but there is some animosity based on history and old quarrels.
The same applies to how the rest of Ireland sees us. Generally favourable, but with some exceptions. Like in most places, the worst problems are caused by a small number of hateful people.
