but what are youre kids going to inherit when you die?.... im kinda glad that my parents own a house thats worth half a million quid.... though i only get a third of that

@TheCoolestCat: Kids generally don't keep the inherited house anymore. Hell, it's somewhat rare for the kids to even live in the same city to begin with.

Children are not entitled to inherit. That said, my children in particular will inherit my remaining savings, and investments.
For others, they may have savings and investments without bing real estate.
