Do you think it's important to learn to read and write and do math, which you do need to go to school for?

Those are very important, in a way necessary even. You actually don't really need to go to school for them, in some cases, perhaps even in many cases, school can actually be a hindrance in learning about them, giving people misconceptions about them, giving people bad experiences about them, making people lose interest in them.
