I've done it once.
I'd arrived a few minutes late so crept in, sat down and soon noticed that the subject was Geology but not quite the topic advertised.
"Ah", I thought, "Perhaps the original speaker was unable to appear and they've had to make a last-minute substitution".
Then the talk and photographs drifted away to more scenic - to general geography, really.
Still, I did enjoy this unexpected tour of Patagonia.
Yes - I'd mis-read my calendar. The Geology lecture was actually a week later!
