Some teachers get pivoted against kids. They need to be kept in check, otherwise stuff like this would still happen.

@SW-Usersch i saw it happen at senior school we where sent on a run and had too assemble on the top field . the games teacher was there and the boy who came last he got the slipper from the games teacher . he never used his own slipper he asked somebody too donate theirs for the slippering

@smiler2012 Well thats one way of encouraging them I suppose ! Was it just a token whack or a serious slippering ?

Miss Wilson seems ok and not someone always on the lookout for an excuse to spank. Changing can be difficult for all sorts of complex reasons, especially for adolescents going or not going through puberty-inducing developmental changes. I suppose hurrying it might not be such a bad idea since locker rooms often inspire jokes and other harsh comments. In the case of Lizzie, she was clearly teasing.

@SW-User Amazing to me how we all were challenged by dares. Did you have "I double dog dare you to ...!"

@Alfred22 We dared each other to do silly things sometimes. My friend Suzy dared me to bunk off school before the last lesson of the day. It was my least favourite lesson with my least favourite teacher so I was up for it and said "I will do it if you do". We both agreed but on the day got cold feet. I said to Suzy "What do you think our punishment will be if we are caught - the slipper or detention ? And she said "It could be both". I said I wouldnt do it, Suzy called me a chicken and said she would still do it - but later changed her mind ! We may have been chicken but neither of us fancied six of the best with the slipper followed by a detention !
