Old World philosophers, what do you think is the point of wanting to know knowledge already known to humans, and with no new knowledge

to be learnt in the future?
Sticking with the "recieved"view while also controlling that view leads to world domination, of course. Our oligarchs now own reality. This works only because ordinary people refuse to think like adults and understand their context. They agree to stick to the received view without participating in resolving what is true.
@Roundandroundwego Did you mean ancient Greek oligarchs have control of reality?
@Oldanglaisadverbs I said "our oligarchs now own reality". They easily create whatever ignorance they want through privatized technology. You can decide it meant whatever you like. That's what conservatives do.
Break the truth. Didn't you mean that ancient Greek chefs poisoned everyone? Nothing whatever blah blah blah.

We must repeat recalculate and record to analysis again. Unless the observations can be reproduced and reaffirmed. The only reasonable conclusion is our assumption were errored. Therefore unless it can be recreated repeated and affirmed technically we dont know what happened already. How would we even speculate what the future holds? Given we havent reconfirmed the past?
