What did you learn this week?

While waiting in the reception of my daughter's school on Thursday I picked up a copy of a recent inspector's report which detailed some of the highlights of the curriculum:

(1) Pupils learn about Edwardian social attitudes in order to understand the motivations of characters in An Inspector Calls.
(2) Pupils research the health, social and cultural benefits of their favourite sport/physical activity.
(3) Pupils learn about neurodiversity and how much more colourful and interesting the world can be when we try to include rather than ignore marginalised and vulnerable groups in society.

Meanwhile, in the 'adult' world I learned:

(1) That the latest 'upgrade' to the Teams app is incompatible with our company's network.
(2) Investor confidence in our products remains low partly as a result of incinsistent and indecisive central government policy (because Conservatives would rather send asylum seekers to Africa and regulate rickshaws in London than focus on boring financial legislation).
(3) Our most important client is an unpleasant narcissist, but we have to pretend they are not because they have a lot of money (actually I knew that already).

I'm going to see if I can register for school next year 😌

Awwww! 💖💖💖 Being an adult is hard for sure! 😂😂😂 After a few hours in work I need to hang upside down or play with my precious kids who make me happy to unwind cause maintaining serious adult conversations is tiring cause of my autism as I am like a kid inside though my work friends are wonderful! 🤗🤗🤗 I would LOVE to go to school again just for Gymnastics and a few other lessons like English and Drama! 😁😁😁 If you are signing up for school again maybe sign me up too cause I miss school to be honest? 😂😂😂 So what did I learn this week? 🤔🤔🤔 I learnt my youngest Emily has an extra week off school after Christmas! 😁😁😁 She was excited yesterday about that bless her as cause she has mild autism like her mother Emily has her very own teaching assistant however on the first week back to school her teaching assistant is on a mandatory autism course and cause Emily is intitled to a teaching assistant and all the teaching assistant are going on a course that week all special needs kids who get teaching assistants get a week off with homework! 😂😂😂 Her teaching assistant said they will give homework to her big sister Isabella to give to Emily bless her! 😝😝😝 Kids are truly the greatest gift ever in the whole world! 💖💖💖

@MommyLucy OK! I would be happy with PE, art, maths and music all week 🙂

Awh, I am glad that she is excited rather than worried about jer extra week off school 🤗

@SunshineGirl Art is my youngest Emily's favourite school subject cause bless her she LOVES drawing and painting and colouring but she loves P.E and English and she loves her one science teacher but not the subject just the teacher! 🤗🤗🤗 Her teaching assistant and all other teaching assistants are on a mandatory autism course so the special needs kids who are entitled to extra help from a teaching assistant are allowed an extra week off school with homework! 😁😁😁 KIDS ARE AWESOME! 💖💖💖

@MommyLucy And when they come back from their training they will be able to help Emily even better than they did before 😊
