Ok, quick IQ test...

I have a drawer with 50 white socks and 50 black socks in, none of which are paired together.
How many socks do I have to pull out, in a dark room with no light, before I get a matching pair?

No reasons, just numerical answers please.... I'm interested in how people answer 🤗

I'm interpreting the question as follows: "What is the minimal number of socks that must be removed from the drawer to guarantee that there is a matching pair among the removed socks?" (And of course I'm saying "matching pair" to mean a pair of identical color.)

Under this interpretation, I believe the correct answer is 3. I was about to instinctively justify my answer, but as you ask for numerical answers only, I'm leaving my answer at that.
