Did anybody had teachers that were brutally honest/straightforward?
We did. We were in I think 7th grade. Special education teacher. I didn’t like her at first because I thought she was “mean” and said hurtful words. The first day she let us know that she wasn’t going to play around and she means business. She also said that she’ll respect us if we respect her so if we disrespect her, she will get UGLY and can get “mean”. She was a good teacher.
Quite frankly, I was never looking forward to school because of her and begged my dad to let me stay home but he said I need to learn to deal with it because I’m going to have to deal with all kids of people and people can be HARSHER. I begged the principal for me to switch classes but they refused and said we have a great teacher that will keep us in line, preparing us for life and tell us the truth even if it hurts.
Our 7th grade teacher did care for us but if we cry of whine she didn’t wanna hear it and told us to suck it up because it’s just pathetic crying over little things. She did prepare us for the next level and told amazing stories and she was pretty funny. How are honest people so funny and roast people well.
