Want a free college education?

Work for it. Here we have a college that wants you to graduate debt free... But you must work on campus about 20 hours per week....
Announced this week the state will pay for your law enforcement training for state residences

My brother-in-law worked summer jobs at an a/c business when he was in high school and saved up for a truck and a two-year tech college. He got a job working in a hot dog/chili food plant and worked in the afternoon after he got out of class. He’d go home at lunch every day and have a peanut butter sandwich, because that was what he could afford for lunch, not fast food etc. I don’t think he ever asked his parents for money either. Got a degree in HVAC and eventually got his own business with a partner. His son followed in his footsteps, working at a car wash and mowing lawns all summer & when he turned 16 worked in a car wash & mowed lawns during his off-time. Saved up for a truck and went to the same tech college. He paid his way through college and bought his dad’s share of the business after working for him for about 10 years. This is one way to do it and build self-confidence and job references etc when you are still young

@cherokeepatti I still remember one of my high school contemporaries who used to mow my parent's lawn. He started out with using my parent's lawnmower, and expanded working after school and worked for many of the neighbors, too. After about 2 years, he rolled up driving his own truck with a flat bed trailer and a riding lawnmower. When he graduated high school, he started his own landscaping business! He did VERY well, and eventually had a crew.
