Teacher called me out for grabbing students by the arm and told me I need to stop and let them go on their own.

I feel like I can’t do my job right! I always screw up. I’ll never hurt a child.
When we try to get kids to line up, when they try to go the opposite direction I would take their hand and redirect them but they keep pulling away and pushing my arm away. I’m just trying to help.
One of the coworkers (who dislikes me scolded), “Ms. (my name), STOP GRABBING THEIR ARMS! They don’t like that so just redirect them. Listen to their message!” And she rolled her eyes.
The teacher said, “Look, instead of grabbing them, just redirect them. If you keep grabbing them, then it does them or yourself no good. Just keep that in mind. The only time you should grab them is when they are in danger or danger to other students (aggressive).”
I can’t do anything right. Most students don’t like me anyways but I do my best to be kind.

You're overthinking this. Don't tell these things to yourself honey...of course you are capable and trying to be nice and do your best!!!
We're all having different ways of thinking, what seems right to the teacher might not seem so right to another teacher.
Continue giving your best self and in the long run everyone will notice 🤗
I did not enjoy reading this.
