Could I get some uplifting stories of people going to pursue their college degree in the their middle age?

Life happened quickly when I was fresh out of high school and it was something I always said I would go back and do, and I am just now getting around to considering the idea.

I went to university as a mature student at 21, finished at 27, and have since done four further quals sponsored by my employer, the Australian government. Had a good 26-year career there so far, and my daughter is in her second year of uni.
