So this horrible secondary school teacher here refused to call a student by their chosen name

@bijouxbroussard He should just be fired. It costs nothing to humor one student with psychiatric problems. I had a teacher who called all the students God #1, God #2, God #3 etc. for not following his religious views. He was fired.

@SW-User I’m no longer religious, but I was for many years. This was his opportunity to display his faith as one of kindness and tolerance, and he [b]blew[/b] it.

It wouldn’t have cost him a thing to use that student’s chosen name. Clearly he was breaking the rules of the school, too.

@bijouxbroussard Injustice can swing both ways. I'm fully banned from Reddit for appealing a decision. I didn't meet a requirement for atheists to believe that men are women.

@SW-User I remember that. I still don’t understand what atheism, or not believing in [b]deities[/b], has to do with transgenderism.

@SW-User Okay. Then he’s not being paid to impose his religious beliefs on anyone.

@bijouxbroussard no, our state is actually closing down religious based schools, they're all changing over the next decade to community national schools, non demonination, where religion is taught, but the children learn about all religions of the world and atheism too. They can no longer refuse to accept students based on them not being Catholic which was happening a lot.
