im a fully certified teacher now i have passed the praxis 2 though i didnt need it to teach in a private school which is what im going to teach at

Always a good idea to become legitimate. You never know when you might need to go elsewhere. Actually, it wouldn't hurt to continue on further. Other places are far more strict.

Here beginning child psychology training is necessary. You never know if you're dealing with a autistic child, for instance.

@MarmeeMarch Not yet. Just their 50s, and my grandkids are in college. But my mother taught school in 7 different decades and she always said the biggest challenge to teaching was taking command of the room, and she thought she was blessed that her first job had been a one-room school where the older kids essentially were deputized as "teaching assistants".
Better to be licensed/certified; private schools look better when their teachers *are*, and it helps you there & if they contract.
Public school pays more.
