Yes, most of my PE classes were done in bare feet. In secondary school you could wear non-marking shoes in the gym for team games, but many of us chose not to.

How can a floor be "posh"? 🤔

@lizzielost I’m with you, even when there was a choice to wear non marking soles plimsolls / trainers, most didn’t x.

@Hayleywg It was easier and cheaper to go without. If we were doing gymnastics or dance we would all have to take them off anyway.
